Purpose of the site
ManualPhoto is an example of my photography and what you can do with very little gear. The focus is on the pictures and inspiration, not technique. However I use cheap, old gear to create my images… but you can read more on that on my website Retrocamera.net (or Retrofoto.se if your swedish). In short, the purpose is to show off my images while giving you some knowledge or inspiration.

Who am I?
My name is Mattias Wirf – I am a artist, webdesigner, developer and businessowner in Sweden. In my youth I studied artschool (painting/drawing), took some photography lessons. Later on I educated myself in webdevelopment, built websites and got a chance to teach development. So I can paint oil, program with PHP, photograph and write courses ;) To incorporate all of this I started a business in 2002.
I was born 1975, married with children.
